Was so glad to be a part of that crazy cold crowd on Saturday night at the Blackmon Ampitheatre. Anyone who didn't come missed out big time!!! Cindy, you look amazing and the band was great as always! God still has plans for you. Just keep doing what you're doing...making us smile and having a good party time. Lots of love to you all!

I remember The Georgia Prophets when they played in my hometown, Aiken, S.C., in the late 60s. Does anybody remember the names of the original members? I remember Billy and Barbara,Walter Stanley, Roy Smith, Herbie Howell...

To Sonia, Gail, the Prophets, family and many friends: I have known Billy (Pete) to me since age 9 or 10 years old. I would sit and play cards with Barbara during the times when he was away in the Army. Pete was there for us after my mother passed in 1975. He never got too busy with his singing career to not be there for his family when they needed him. I am sorry that I couldn’t be there for his going away celebration and will miss him dearly. My prayers are with the ones that he left behind. Pete you have taken your trip on that big old gospel ship. RIP my dear cousin. Theresa Grangruth

To: Gail, Sonya and the Party Prophets We have known Billy for 30+ years and are so sorry he is gone. Over that 30+ years, we traveled many miles to be at shows when Billy and his bands (when we started seeing them, they were the Georgia Prophets) were performing. It was always so much fun! The last time we saw Billy was on October 5, 2012 and wished him a happy 70th birthday. We didn't have any idea that would be our last hug from Billy. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless each of you.
