Yall remember the movie Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayzee. This festival is named after the movie. Many scenes in the movie were filmed in Lake Lure, NC. There are several bands scheduled to perform including Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs who sang the song "Stay" on the soundtrack of the movie.  There are plenty of activities planned for this unforgettable event.
